Katie Burkart

I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and promptly left after turning 18. I studied art with a concentration in photography at the University of Georgia in Athens. After school, I interned for a year at a small press in Atlanta that prints artist books. I now reside in Portland, Oregon where I work shipping books around the world and spend my free time starting a screen printing collective with the purpose of bombarding the city with political art.
